What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India has extended the existing Directions issued to The Anjangaon Surji Nagari Sahakari Bank Ltd., Amravati, Maharashtra under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. The earlier directive, first issued on July 27, 2022 and last extended up to April 28, 2024, has now been continued for a further three months, from the close of business on April 28, 2024 to the close of business on July 28, 2024, subject to review. The press release states that all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
