What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India extended the period of operation of its earlier All Inclusive Directions issued under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 to The Anjangaon Surji Nagari Sahakari Bank Ltd., Amravati, Maharashtra. The directive, originally dated July 27, 2022, had been in force up to January 28, 2023 and is now continued from January 29, 2023 to April 28, 2023, subject to review. RBI also states that all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
