What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India has extended the period of operation of its existing Directions under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 in respect of Sikar Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Sikar, Rajasthan. The original directions were issued on October 26, 2018 and had last been extended up to June 09, 2025. RBI has now extended the directive for a further period of three months from close of business on June 09, 2025 to close of business on September 09, 2025, subject to review. No other terms or conditions have been changed.
