What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India has further extended the operative period of its existing Directions issued under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 against Sikar Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Sikar, Rajasthan. The directive, originally issued on October 26, 2018 and last extended to December 09, 2024, now continues from close of business on December 09, 2024 until close of business on March 09, 2025, subject to review. The release states that all other terms and conditions of the directive remain unchanged.
