What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India has extended the existing Directions issued under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 against Sadbhav Nagrik Sahakari Bank Maryadit, Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. The original directions, issued on October 06, 2025, had already been extended once and were due to expire on July 07, 2026. RBI has now extended them further for three months, up to the close of business on October 07, 2026, with all other terms and conditions unchanged and subject to review.
