What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India extended the existing Directions issued under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 against Sadbhav Nagrik Sahakari Bank Maryadit, Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. The original directive had run up to the close of business on April 07, 2026; the extension now carries it forward for another three months until the close of business on July 07, 2026. The release says all other terms and conditions remain unchanged and cautions that the extension should not be read as indicating satisfaction with the bank's financial position.
