The Reserve Bank of India extended the period of operation of its existing directions issued under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 to Kanaka Pattana Sahakara Bank Niyamita, Davangere. The original directive dated March 11, 2026 had been in force up to close of business on September 12, 2026; RBI has now extended it to close of business on December 12, 2026, subject to review.
