What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India has further extended the operation of its existing directions issued under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 to Ramgarhia Co-operative Bank Limited, New Delhi. The extension runs from close of business on July 08, 2025 to close of business on October 08, 2025, subject to review. RBI said all other terms and conditions remain unchanged and clarified that the extension should not be read as an indication that it is satisfied with the bank's financial position.
