RBI extended its existing directions on Sri Satya Sai Nagrik Sahakari Bank Maryadit, Bhopal for another six months. The bank continues to operate under tight restrictions on lending, deposits, liabilities, and withdrawals.
Impact
The bank must continue operating within RBI-imposed limits through October 08, 2015 unless modified earlier. Lending, investment, borrowing, fresh deposit mobilisation, asset disposal, and most payments remain restricted; depositors are limited to withdrawals of up to Rs 1,000 per account subject to conditions.
