What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India extended the existing Directions issued to The Valsad Mahila Nagrik Sahakari Bank Ltd., Valsad, Gujarat. The directive, originally issued for six months up to close of business on June 18, 2026, has been extended for a further three months to close of business on September 18, 2026, subject to review. RBI also noted that the extension should not be read as approval of the bank's financial position and that all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
