What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India has extended the Directions already applicable to The Konark Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Ulhasnagar. The bank had first been placed under Directions on April 23, 2024, and the latest order continues those restrictions from close of business on July 23, 2025 till close of business on October 23, 2025, subject to review. RBI stated that all other terms and conditions remain unchanged and that the extension should not be construed as satisfaction with the bank’s financial position.
