What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India has extended the directions already in force against Konark Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Ulhasnagar. The bank had been placed under directions from the close of business on April 23, 2024, and the latest RBI notification continues those directions from April 23, 2025 until the close of business on July 23, 2025, subject to review. The release states that all other terms and conditions of the directives remain unchanged and that the extension should not be interpreted as RBI being satisfied with the bank’s financial position.
