What Happened
RBI has extended the Directions already in force against Pune Sahakari Bank Ltd., Shivajinagar, Pune, Maharashtra. The bank had originally been placed under Directions from March 10, 2023, and the validity had been extended earlier; this latest order continues those Directions from the close of business on March 10, 2025 until the close of business on June 10, 2025, subject to review. The release states that all other terms and conditions remain unchanged and clarifies that the extension should not be read as RBI being satisfied with the bank’s financial position.
