What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India has extended the existing Directions applicable to The City Co-operative Bank Ltd., Mumbai. The bank had originally been placed under Directions from the close of business on April 17, 2018, and those Directions had been extended from time to time, with the latest validity up to July 16, 2023. Under the new directive dated July 13, 2023, the RBI has directed that the same Directions continue to apply until October 16, 2023, subject to review. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
