What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India has extended the period of operation of its earlier All-Inclusive Directions issued to Bidar Mahila Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Bidar, Karnataka under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. The directions, originally issued on February 21, 2019 and previously extended up to February 29, 2020, will now continue from March 01, 2020 to August 31, 2020, subject to review. No new conditions were introduced; the existing restrictions remain in force unchanged.
