What Happened
RBI has extended the applicability of its existing directive dated August 28, 2015 issued to The Vaish Co-operative Commercial Bank Ltd., New Delhi. The directive, which had already been modified from time to time and was last extended up to February 08, 2020, will now continue from February 09, 2020 to August 08, 2020, subject to review. The action is taken under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 as applicable to co-operative societies.
