What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India cancelled the Certificate of Registration of 14 companies, including Banhem Securities Private Limited, Esquire Engineering Ltd., J.V. Gokal Finance And Investments Private Limited, and others, under Section 45-IA(6) of the RBI Act, 1934. The order means these entities are no longer permitted to transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution as defined in the Act.
