What Happened
RBI has extended the period of operation of its directions issued to Bhilwara Mahila Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Bhilwara (Rajasthan), under section 35A read with section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. The directions, originally issued on March 07, 2017 and effective from March 9, 2017, had already been extended once and were due to expire on March 09, 2018; they will now continue from March 10, 2018 to July 09, 2018, subject to review. No other terms or conditions were changed.
