What Happened
The Reserve Bank of India അറിയിച്ചു that the CKP Co-operative Bank Ltd., Mumbai, Maharashtra, which had been under directions since May 2, 2014, will remain subject to the same Directive for a further four months from December 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018. This was done through a Directive dated November 23, 2017 under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. The notice states that the earlier directions, as modified from time to time, continue and that the extension should not be taken to mean RBI is satisfied with the bank’s financial improvement.
